Harmal

Harmal are seeds of perennial plant found in Middle East and South Asia namely India and Pakistan. Also known as Wild Rue, Persian rue, these seeds have varied medicinal properties. It has Anti-bacterial and anti-parasitic properties which help cure gastrointestinal, urinary, intestinal parasite and bacterial problems. It also cures depression, nervousness, sexual problems and epilepsy, helps fight cancerous tumor growth and acts as stimulant on central nervous system. The seed’s other uses include using as yellow and red dye to dye wool, carpet fibres, as tattoo ink ingredient. Its fragrant smoke is used in religious traditions of Christians, Muslims and Jews.
