It is a Dakshinavarti Shankh or right handed Conch shell, which has shimmering crystalline deposits in its opening, which gives it the name Heera, which means Diamond. This Heera Shankh is named, Kashthaa, which means the Goddess who is superior, denoting Goddess Lakshmi, who is highly revered. She bestows material abundance, but on a spiritual level She urges to rise beyond the illusions of the material world. The unique Heera Shankh benefits everyone. 

The Heera Shankh is a fossil Conch shell found mostly in the mountains of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan and also rarely found in the rocks, deep down in the Indian Ocean.
