Khas also known as Chrysopogon zizanioides, vetiver, Khas grass or Cuscus is grass herb native to India. The grass is used for making perfumes, flavoring drinks and for making mats. It is one of the favorite offering to Lord Ganesha and garland made of it is also offered to Lord Natraja. As tonic bath for hair, it helps get rid of lice. It helps provide relief from pain caused due to gout, arthritis, rheumatism and muscular aches. It provides relief from inflammation caused in nervous and circulatory systems.
