Laxmi Narayan Shaligram Shila - IV

This Shaligram is called the Laxmi Narayan Shaligram. Bhagwan Vishnu is also known as Narayan. Bhagwan Vishnu is known as the protector who protects his worshippers from all the dangers and gives success, courage, and confidence, while Goddess Laxmi is a symbol of compassion, wealth, and treasure. Thus, the divine pair (Laxmi Narayan), when worshipped together, bring positivity and bless the worshipper with wealth, prosperity, compassion, faith, protection from negative energies, and peace.

The Shaligram Shila represents Bhagawan Vishnu and is a self-manifested stone found in the beds and banks of Kali Gandaki River, Nepal. The worship of Shaligram focuses on six virtues of life which includes creation of wealth, good health, world and spiritual pleasures, spiritual progress, protection and righteous living.

The Shaligram Shila is worshipped by performing the sacred bath, Abhishek, with water and Tulsi leaves and Panchamrit, which is a mixture of Cow Milk (without boiling), Curd, Ghee, Honey, Sugar.
