Mars (Mangal Graha) Brass Idol

The divine idol made in heavy brass features Mangal Dev, Who is one of the Navagrahas (nine astrological planets). In this idol, Mangal Dev is seated on a ram and He holds a trident, lotus and spear in His hands. He is adorning a crown and is bedecked with jewels. Mangal is the God of the astrological planet Mars. He represents courage, assets, willpower, passion, leadership skills, action, fearlessness, bravery and strength. He presides over Earth, fire element, the coral gemstone, the colour red and Tuesday (weekday). Also known as Bhauma, Kuja and Angāraka, He is worshipped for removing malefic of planet Mars and for overcoming difficulties relating to marriage, debts, poverty and children.
