Masik Vinayaka Chaturthi Puja & Yajna

Masik Vinayaka Chaturthi is the sacred monthly observance dedicated to Lord Ganesha, celebrated on the Chaturthi Tithi of Shukla Paksha, the waxing phase of the Moon. It is considered an auspicious day to seek Lord Ganesha’s blessings for wisdom, success, prosperity and smooth progress in one’s endeavours.

Lord Ganesha is revered as Vighnaharta, the remover of obstacles, Siddhidata, the bestower of accomplishment, and the Lord of wisdom and auspicious beginnings. His worship on Vinayaka Chaturthi is especially significant for those beginning a new venture, pursuing important goals or seeking greater clarity and direction in life.

Devotees traditionally observe vrata and worship Lord Ganesha with devotion on this day. The practice also encourages discipline, purity of intention and mastery over distractions. The Puja is performed with Sankalpa in the devotee’s name and includes Abhishek, sacred Paath, Mantra Japa and Yajna.
