What is Ram Yantra?

Yantras are intricate and powerful geometric diagrams that hold profound significance in various cultures and traditions. They are geometric representations of specific Deities/Energies like how Mantras are audio/verbal representations of different Gods. Yantras act as channels to invoke the blessings and qualities of these specific deities. The Ram Yantra shields from trouble and protects from curses and evil. Worshiping the Ram Yantra will help you remove any and all obstacles from your path to wealth, fame, and luxury. The removal of all domestic disturbances is credited to this Yantra. It's also good for spreading love and calm. Ram Yantra restores your dharma and paves the way for a successful life.

The 2-dimensional diagram of Ram Yantra comprises a tilted Shatkona (Hexagon) contained inside a circle which is further contained within a set of 21 concentric Triangles points in all 360 degree directions. This entire set is contained within a larger Shatkona contained within a circle with 6 semicircles like petals. This Shaktona of two interlocked Triangles contains 3 astrological symbols of the Sun along other 3 symbols of the Royal sign of Leo along 3 etched Ram mantras. Bhagawan Ram was in essence a King who ruled in fairness and ethical principles, and His spirit  emphasized the importance of the 3 earthly life goals as equally important: Virtue (dharma), Desires (kama), and legitimate Wealth acquisition (artha). It follows 6 Lotus petals facing upwards and 6 Lotus petals facing downwards contained within a Square with 4 Bhupurs (gates). This intricate diagram as a whole represents the power of restoring Dharma (the right way to live and the right actions to take in life) regardless of internal or external impediments. Dharma brings order and stability, a harmonious and lawful life, and the effort to do what is right. The sacred geometry of this yantra is consequently a powerful source of energetic vibration, encouraging the individual to follow his dharma and be virtuous, to interact successfully with society, and, ultimately, to remember who they truly are.

Bhagawan Rama is a major deity in Hinduism and is regarded as the seventh and one of the most popular avatars of Vishnu. Rama's journey is characterized by unwavering adherence to dharma despite the rigors of time and life. Rama is portrayed as the epitome of leadership and the perfect person (purushottama).

Rama renounces his claim to the throne of Kosala and accepts a fourteen-year exile in the forest for the sake of his father's honor. Sita and Lakshmana, unable to survive without Rama, decide to join him in exile and spend the next fourteen years with him. This causes the Rakshasa (Asura) king of Lanka, Ravana, to abduct Sita. Rama wages a massive war against Ravana's legions following a long and arduous quest that tested his personal bravery and virtue. Rama kills Ravana in battle and frees his wife during a conflict involving powerful and supernatural beings, highly destructive weapons, and fierce combat.

After completing his exile, Rama returns to Ayodhya (the capital of his kingdom) to be anointed monarch. He eventually becomes emperor and governs with pleasure, peace, prosperity, and justice during the Rama Rajya. The legend of Rama is highly influential and well-known in the cultures of the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia as a whole.

Bhagawan Rama is revered for his unending compassion, courage, and devotion to dharma, religious values and duty.

How to Meditate on Ram Yantra? (Visualization Technique)

Meditating on the Ram Yantra is the most powerful way to achieve union with the diagram. Achieving the union is said to reveal all secrets of the world and one is supposed to gain access to knowledge of higher realms. In an oversimplified sense one must recreate the Ram Yantra diagram accurately in the mind and visualize it. This visualization technique may sound simple but is quite tough to achieve, one must spend years of sadhana just to create an accurate image of the diagram in their head.

One can start by sitting in a comfortable posture facing east with an accurate image of Ram Yantra at their Eye Level.

Perform Pranayama Anolom Vilom (Alternating nostril breaths) 10 times & meditate to purify your mind and thoughts.

Start by focusing on the Centre Point Bindu with your gaze going inward to outward from the Bindu to the 1st Layer of the tilted Shaktona to the 2nd Layer of the 21 Triangles to the 3rd Layer of the upward pointing Triangle of the larger Shaktona  to the 4th Layer of the downward pointing Triangle to the 5th Layer of the Circle to the 6th Layer of 6 Semicircles to the 7th Layer of the 6 Petals of Lotus to the 8th Layer of the following 6 Petals of Lotus with etched numerals on them to the 9th Layer of the Circle to the 10th Layer of the Squares in the outermost part. These are the steps or Avaran of Ram yantra.

Then your gaze should go from the Outermost Gate back to the Bindu.

Try to avoid blinking your eyes during this process. You can do this for multiple rounds for 30 minutes.

After you can focus with intent for at least 30 minutes (the stamina to just focus may take quite some time to develop) close your eyes and try to recreate the image of the Ram Yantra Diagram accurately.

Once you can create and sustain an accurate image of Ram Yantra in your mind try to focus one by one on the steps mentioned above and go from Bindu to Outermost gate & Back to Bindu however all this needs to be done in your mind in meditation with your eyes closed.

This visualization technique takes many years to master and bless the Sadhak with material success as well as spiritual augmentation.
