It is also known as Aparagus racemosus, Indian Asparagus, Hundred Roots, Asparagus roots, shatuli, vrishya, himai-shadavari, Ammaikodi, Kilwari and kurilo. It is used as medicine in Ayurveda and Unani system of medicines.
