Tulsi Vivah

Tulsi Vivah Puja is the sacred ritual of uniting Goddess Tulsi, revered as an incarnation of Goddess Lakshmi, with Lord Vishnu in the form of Shaligrama. Tulsi Vivah is celebrated on Kartik Shukla Dwadashi, the day after Prabodhini Ekadashi, marking the symbolic marriage of Tulsi Mata with Lord Vishnu in the form of Shaligrama. This holy ceremony signifies the end of Chaturmas and the beginning of the auspicious Hindu wedding season. In 2025, Tulsi Vivah will be observed on Sunday, 2nd November. Spiritually, Tulsi Vivah represents the divine union of the soul with the Supreme, and is considered one of the most meritorious acts in the month of Kartik.
