The primary deity of this Puja and Yagna is Lord Dhanvantari, who is a manifestation of Lord Vishnu, one of the Divine Trinity, the preserver and protector of the Universe. Lord Dhanvantari is the father of Ayurveda, who appeared on the day of Dhanteras carrying a pot of Amrit (nectar) in His hand, from the Celestial Milky Ocean, at the end of Samudra Manthan. He is the Physician of Gods, a Healer/doctor of the Universe. As per the Puranas the legendary Samudra Manthan (churning of the Celestial Ocean) was conducted by the Gods and Asuras for the Amrit, the nectar of immortality. Dhanvantri Puja & Yajna is performed on Dhanvantari Trayodashi which is celebrated two days before Diwali Puja during Trayodashi Tithi of Krishna Paksha. It marks the appearance of Lord Vishnu in His divine incarnation of Lord Dhanvantari, the teacher and the father of Ayurveda. The Samudra Manthan or churning of Cosmic Milk Ocean is related to the Srimad Bhagavatam and is one of the most famous Chapter of this great book. Dhanvantari Puja Mantra:

Meaning - I bow down and pray to the Lord Dhanvantari who is the incarnation of Lord Vishnu, who resides in all living and non-living, animate and inanimate beings and objects. You hold the pot(Kalash), filled with the nectar of immortality(Amrit). Oh Lord, you can remove all fears and diseases. You protect all the three worlds, You are the manifestation of Lord Vishnu, I bow down to you.

Charity, Donation & Dakshina Performed After Dhanvantari Pooja & Havan

After completion of all puja rituals certain items are donated by Rudra Centre Puja Services on behalf of the Yajman/Participant of the Puja as per Hindu Shastras. Dakshina is given to the Pandits after chanting the Mantras, some items are donated to poor people, some are donated to temples, some items are offered to animals like cows, dogs, cats, birds which helps in wish fulfilment of the Yajman/Participant as per the Sankalpa.

Puja Prasad Sent After Dhanvantri Puja & Homam

Puja Basket/Tokri consisting of energized Items will be shipped to the Yajman/Participant on their given address. These Items have been used & energized in the puja and hold on to the energy of mantra chanting & rituals. 

The Puja Tokri will consist of : 

Dhanvantari Yantra : Yantras are geometric representation of deities. This yantra can be kept in your purse/wallet/laptop bag/drawer/cash box/puja altar. The best direction for the yantra will be North East Facing South West. 
7 Mukhi Rudraksha : 10 mukhi blesses the yajman with protection & peace. This can be worn on the right hand as a bracelet for best results. You can get in touch with RRST therapist for guidance. 
Silver Tabeez : This amulet consists of Dhanvantari Beej Mantra written on Bhojpatra which was energized in the Puja. It can be worn around the neck. 
Mauli Thread : This Holy thread can be tied on the right hand
Dry Fruits Prasad : These were offered to Lord Dhanvantari during the puja and Dhanvantari homam procedure and can be consumed by the Yajman/Participant
Puja Coins : Puja coin of Ganesh, Laxmi & Saraswati will be sent which can be kept in your purse/wallet/laptop bag/drawer/cash box/puja alter. These coins bless the yajman/participant with prosperity & luck 
Tilaks : Haldi Kumkum Sandalwood Paste/Powders are sent which can be applied on the Yantra, Deity Idols or Forehead while doing puja 
Vibhuti/Holy Ash : The Ash from the Dhanvantari Yajna (Homam), will be sent which can be applied on your forehead, throat, chest, biceps. 
Holy Betel Nut : Betel Nut decorated in holy thread will be sent for good luck
Prosperity Bowl : A Prosperity Bowl consisting of Gomati Chakra, Cowry, Sriphal, Lotus Seeds and Shell to be kept in cash box or wallet or money lockers for financial prosperity.

The below mentioned instructions are just suggestions to attune to the puja before you participate in the Dhanvantari Homam online or in person. However due to hectic/busy lifestyle one may not be able to follow all the suggestions mentioned below and it is completely okay you will still receive the benefits of the puja

Have a Bath & Wear Clean Clothes Before the Puja
Avoid Eating Spicy Foods, Onion, Garlic, Non-Vegetarian on the day(s) of the puja. 
Be in Meditative Mode. Try to minimize distractions

We will require your birth details (date, place and time of birth) 
Gotra or Clan Name or Family Name (if you don’t know these details you can provide us with the name of your Father & Mother) 
Sankalp or Wish/Intention of the puja which will be translated into Sanskrit and recited by the Head Priest Your Photograph

Note all the above details are optional and we can perform the puja on your behalf even if you do not have all the details mentioned above. We can perform the puja just with your Name also.

The number of chants to be chanted during the Puja and Homam depends on individual choice. Higher the number of chants the more powerful the effects of the puja.
