Sri Durga Sahasranamam Meaning

The Durga Sahasranamam is a compilation of 1000 sacred names of Maa Durga, in Sanskrit. Each name describes the invincible Goddess’s superior qualities, and are very beautifully. Chanting the names of Mother Durga or the Durga Sahasranamam benefits with treasurable gifts for the devotees. Goddess Durga is a form of Shakti/Parvati worshiped for Her gracious as well as powerful, warrior aspects.

Goddess Durga is also said to be the embodiment of Goddess Laxmi and Saraswati. Her image portrays Her with 10 hands, with weapons in each of Her hands. Maa Durga is the destroyer of sin and protector of the innocent and of morality. She blesses with material and spiritual contentment, provides invincible protection.

Durga Yantra: Yantras are geometric representation of deities. This yantra can be kept in your purse/wallet/laptop bag/drawer/cash box/puja altar. The best direction for the yantra will be North East Facing South West. 
7 Mukhi Rudraksha: 7 mukhi blesses the wearer with new opportunities, wealth and peace. You can get in touch with RRST therapist for guidance. 
Silver Tabeez: This amulet consists of Durga Mantra written on Bhojpatra which was energized in the Puja. It can be worn around the neck. 
Mauli/Molly Thread: This Holy thread can be tied on the right hand
Dry Fruits Prasad: These were offered to Goddess Durga in the Durga Sahasranamam Path and can be consumed by the Yajman/Participant. 
Puja Coins: Pure Silver Puja coin of Ganesh, Laxmi & Saraswati will be sent which can be kept in your purse/wallet/laptop bag/drawer/cash box/puja alter. These coins bless the yajman/participant with prosperity & luck.

The below mentioned instructions are just suggestions to attune to the puja before you participate in the online Durga Sahasranamam or in person. However due to hectic/busy lifestyle one may not be able to follow all the suggestions mentioned below and it is completely okay you will still receive the benefits of the puja

Have a Bath & Wear Clean Clothes Before the Puja
Avoid Eating Spicy Foods, Onion, Garlic, Non-Vegetarian on the day(s) of the puja. 
Be in Meditative Mode. Try to minimize distractions
