About Goddess Jagadamba | Significance of Jagadamba Karya Siddhi Puja

Goddess Jagadamba is another name for Goddess Shakti, for Shakti Sadhaks She is the Para Brahman or the Supreme Consciousness. The name Jagadamba means ‘mother of entire Universe’. She is also known by other names such as Jagdambika or just Amba. In some Puranas and Vedic scripture Goddess Jagadamba is described as the peaceful form or manifestation of Goddess Shakti. Goddess Jagadamba is a popular Goddess in Western India, especially in states of Gujarat and Maharashtra. Worshipping Goddess Jagadamba particularly during Navratri is considered highly meritorious and rewarding.
