About Kanakdhara Puja and Yajna | Objective of Kanakdhara Puja

The primary Deity of Kanakdhara Puja and Yajna is Goddess Mahalaxmi who is invoked and worshipped to get immediate relief from financial trouble, poverty, and miseries and for blessings of prosperity and abundance. Goddess Laxmi is the Divine Goddess of wealth, prosperity, good fortune, riches, fertility, food/grains, name, fame. Kanakdhara - “Kanak Dhara” means a shower of gold from the sky. The Kanakdhara Stotra & Mantra was composed by the legendary Indian Sage Adi Shankaracharya, when chanted as per Vedic Vidhi removes poverty, debt, financial woes and blesses the devotee with material abundance, peace & prosperity.

The Story of Kanakdhara Stotra

Adi Shankaracharya was legendary sage who revived Vedic philosophy and established the 4 Mutts of Hindus. He had taken “Sanyaas” at the age of 8, used to attend Gurukul and depend on Bhiksha or Alms for his food which was a common tradition amongst the students. Once he sought alms from an old poor woman who had nothing and however she gave him an amla fruit (gooseberry) as “daan” which she was actually saving to break her own fast. Adi Shankracharya was so moved by her generosity that he composed the Kanakadhara Strot (Stotra), on the spot and prayed to Goddess Laxmi to alleviate the misery of the old woman by blessing her with wealth. In response to his prayer, Goddess Lakshmi started raining golden amlas from the sky. The Shree Kanakdhara Stotram thus became legendary and is considered very powerful in removing poverty and granting riches and abundance to the devotee/worshipper.

Charity, Donation & Dakshina Performed After Kanakdhara Pooja

After completion of all puja rituals certain items are donated by Rudra Centre Puja Services on behalf of the Yajman/Participant of the Puja as per Hindu Shastras. Dakshina is given to the Pandits after chanting the Mantras, some items are donated to poor people, some are donated to temples, some items are offered to animals like cows, dogs, cats, birds which helps in wish fulfilment of the Yajman/Participant as per the Sankalpa.

Puja Prasad Sent After Kanakdhara Puja and Kanakdhara Yagna

Puja Basket/Tokri consisting of energized Items will be shipped to the Yajman/Participant on their given address. These Items have been used & energized in the puja and hold on to the energy of mantra chanting & rituals. 

The Puja Tokri will consist of: 

Kankdhara Yantra: Yantras are geometric representation of deities. This yantra can be kept in your purse/wallet/laptop bag/drawer/cash box/puja altar. The best direction for the yantra will be North East Facing South West. 
10 Mukhi Rudraksha: 10 mukhi blesses the yajman with protection & peace. This can be worn on the right hand as a bracelet for best results. You can get in touch with RRST therapist for guidance. 
Silver Tabeez: This amulet consists of Kanakdhara Pooja Mantra written on Bhojpatra which was energized in the Puja. It can be worn around the neck. 
Mauli/Molly Thread: This Holy thread can be tied on the right hand
Dry Fruits Prasad: These were offered to Goddess Kanakdhara can be consumed by the Yajman/Participant
Puja Coins: Pure Silver Puja coin of Ganesh, Laxmi & Saraswati will be sent which can be kept in your purse/wallet/laptop bag/drawer/cash box/puja alter. These coins bless the yajman/participant with prosperity & luck
Tilaks: Haldi Kumkum Sandalwood Paste/Powders are sent which can be applied on the Yantra, Deity Idols or Forehead while doing puja
Vibhuti/Holy Ash: The Ash from the Kanadhara Yajna, will be sent which can be applied on your forehead, throat, chest, biceps. 
Holy Betel Nut: Betel Nut decorated in holy thread will be sent for good luck
Prosperity Bowl: A Prosperity Bowl consisting of Gomati Chakra, Cowry, Sriphal, Lotus Seeds and Shell to be kept in cash box or wallet or money lockers for financial prosperity.

Kanakdhara Pooja Instructions | What to do when Kanakdhara Puja and Yajna is being performed?

The below mentioned instructions are just suggestions to attune to the puja before you participate in the Puja online or in person. However due to hectic/busy lifestyle one may not be able to follow all the suggestions mentioned below and it is completely okay you will still receive the benefits of the puja

Have a Bath & Wear Clean Clothes Before the Puja
Avoid Eating Spicy Foods, Onion, Garlic, Non-Vegetarian on the day(s) of the puja. 
Be in Meditative Mode. Try to minimize distractions

The number of chants to be chanted during the Puja and Homam depends on individual choice. Higher the number of chants the more powerful the effects of the puja. Higher number of chants will also increase the number of priests, puja samagri, time required to finish all the rituals which will increase the Kanakdhara Puja cost.
