Tulsi means " the incomparable one" . Tulsi is considered to be very pious, auspicious and divine. The appearance , aroma and flavor is very distinct and used in every auspicious ceremonies. Tulsi is the 4th incarnation of the Supreme Goddess. 

Tulsi beads, equally pious and auspicious can be used offered to Lord Vishnu, Ram and Krishna and even be made into a mala for chanting or wearing purposes.
