The Lord of new beginnings is set to arrive now. Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated as the birth anniversary of Lord Ganesh and it falls in Shukla paksha in Bhadrapada month. This year it falls on 14th Sept, 2026 (Monday). This day is celebrated as the arrival of Bhagwan Ganesh on earth from Kailash Parvat with his mother Goddess Parvati/Gauri. The Lord of all auspiciousness and the one who bestows Buddhi (intellect), Siddhi (spiritual powers), and Riddhi (prosperity) is worshipping and celebrated with much fervour by His devotees all over the world.

Lord Ganesh is known to protect His devotees from all the Vighna (hurdles/obstacles) that come in their life. He has all the five elements under His control. He is the embodiment of all potencies. He has no superior above Him. He is the Pranava Swarupa -embodiment of Aum. Hence, the first prayer is always addressed to Him.

An eco-friendly Lord Ganesha idol will be ceremonially installed and worshipped over two days. The sacred rituals will include Prana Pratishtha, Shodashopachara Puja, Uttar Puja, followed by Ganpati Visarjan on the following day. Pictures and videos of the rituals will be shared with you.

Additionally, a special prayer will be offered at the revered Siddhivinayak Temple, Mumbai, on behalf of all participants on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. Blessed Ladoo Prasad and photo frame from Siddhivinayak Temple will also be sent to participants who have opted for Puja Prasad.

The Puja concludes with Uttarpuja and Ganpati Visarjan the next day.
