Durga Yantra is a miraculous instrument in which Goddess Durga resides itself and everything can be achieved from consistently gazing and worshiping it. This powerful Yantra has 9 Triangles around the Center (Bindu) embodying the power of the Nine goddesses or Navadurgas - or the 9 manifestations of goddess Durga. This is a powerful yantra for attaining desires, removing difficulties and conquering enemies. Durga Yantra bestows wealth and property and protects the person from all sorts of dangers. According to Adhayaya 4 Sloka 17 of Durga Saptashati (most powerful and potent collection of mantras dedicated to Goddess Durga created from Markandeya Puran), worshipping of this Yantra helps remove poverty. Durga yantra represents strength and power, the triumph over obstacles, and total supremacy over one's enemies. During a time of darkness and unrighteousness, She was summoned from the brilliance of all gods and demi-gods. Mother Durga, also known as Maha Devi, is the unified symbol of all divine forces in heavenly conflicts to establish fairness, and in the material realms of existence; She brings the power of command, victory and superior vision beyond dualities.

Presiding Deity: Mother Durga

Mantra:  Om Dum Durgaya Namaha||

Placement: Durga Yantra energizes the location where it is installed. You may place it near the entrance of your home/office/shop or in your living room or reception or study room or office cabin. You may keep it on a table or use it as a wall hanging. Yantra is best placed in the East direction facing West. It gets energized by the rising rays of the Sun and with the divine vibrations of the East corner and provides positive transformation energies to the dwelling through its mystical geometry.

What is Durga Yantra?

Yantras are intricate and powerful geometric diagrams that hold profound significance in various cultures and traditions. They are geometric representations of specific Deities/Energies like how Mantras are audio/verbal representations of different Gods. Yantras act as channels to invoke the blessings and qualities of these specific deities. The Durga Yantra is considered to be very fortunate for businessmen as it brings in prosperity and removes all the problems in their way to success. In ancient times, a Durga Yantra was always seen below the image or idol of Goddess Durga to reassure and reinforce Her presence. Her yantra is used in certain Tantric rituals as well. It is also used and recommended in astrology to protect from the negative effects of Rahu in the natal chart and for harnessing its beneficial effects. It is believed that the Durga Yantra invokes the protective energies of Durga. It creates a divine shield of protection around the devotee, shielding him or her from negative influences, evil spirits, and malevolent forces.

The 2-dimensional diagram of Durga Yantra comprises a large equilateral downwards pointing triangle, which represents the divine feminine energy (Shakti), the creative and dynamic aspect of the universe. Three upward-pointing triangles interlock, breaking down into nine triangles, with an upward-pointing triangle surrounding the center of the yantra or Bindu. In the Durga yantra, the central triangle represents Her active universal power. These nine triangles are surrounded by three Circles standing for continuous movement, progression and dominion of all cosmic cycles and energies in all the Three worlds or realms of existence (Bhurloka, Bhuvarloka and Svarloka) along with the limitless dynamism of the Supreme Mother. This is followed by two layers of lotus petals pointing in 8 directions. The lotus represents enlightenment, spirituality, and purity. The petals radiating out represent various aspects of Durga, such as love, compassion, strength, abundance and prosperity. These have eight small lotus petals in between them, for a total of 24 petals. The incipient and smaller ones represent the raising of new petals in constant regeneration, thus an ever-expanding splendor of power that knows no limits. Durga Yantra three borders (Bhupura) act as a protective shield and create a sacred space for the Yantra's energies to manifest.

Mother Durga embodies the essence of feminine strength, protection, and compassion, which makes Her an inspiration for millions of devotees. Her significance transcends religious boundaries, as She is frequently regarded as a universal symbol of strength and empowerment. She is revered as a powerful Devi representing feminine energy, bravery, and protection in Hinduism, where She holds immense significance, being the counterpart of Bhagawan Mahadev Shiva.

The Durga Yantra is associated with overcoming life's obstacles and challenges. It is thought to bestow the strength, courage, and determination needed to face challenges and triumph in life. It definitely helps remove obstacles and pave the way to success and prosperity. Durga yantra elevates the social status of the place where it is placed and the person who worships it.

How to Meditate on Durga Yantra? (Visualization Technique)

Meditating on the Durga Yantra is the most powerful way to achieve union with the diagram. Achieving the union is said to reveal all secrets of the world and one is supposed to gain access to knowledge of higher realms. In an oversimplified sense one must recreate the Durga Yantra diagram accurately in the mind and visualize it. This visualization technique may sound simple but is quite tough to achieve, one must spend years of sadhana just to create an accurate image of the diagram in their head.

One can start by sitting in a comfortable posture facing east with an accurate image of Durga Yantra at their Eye Level.

Perform Pranayama Anolom Vilom (Alternating nostril breaths) 10 times & meditate to purify your mind and thoughts.

Start by focusing on the Centre Point Bindu with your gaze going inward to outward from the Bindu to the 1st Layer comprising an upwards pointing Triangle to 2nd Layer by contemplating the form of a remarked Triangle pointing downwards to the 3rd Layer containing the 3 upwardly pointing Triangles to the 4th Layer comprised of 9 interlocked Triangles to the 5th Layer of Three Circles of Divine dynamism to the 6th Layer of 24 Lotus petals starting from the little ones and moving towards the middle ones and then the bigger and outer ones, staring at each group of 8 at a time. Then move your gaze to the 7th layer of the yantra borders which encompasses 3 lined up Squares at the outermost part. These are the steps or Avaran of Durga yantra.

Then your gaze should go from the Outermost Gate back to the Bindu.

Try to avoid blinking your eyes during this process. You can do this for multiple rounds for 30 minutes.

After you can focus with intent for at least 30 minutes (the stamina to just focus may take quite some time to develop) close your eyes and try to recreate the image of the Durga Yantra Diagram accurately.

Once you can create and sustain an accurate image of Durga Yantra in your mind try to focus one by one on the steps mentioned above and go from Bindu to Outermost gate & Back to Bindu however all this needs to be done in your mind in meditation with your eyes closed.

This visualization technique takes many years to master and bless the Sadhak with material success as well as spiritual augmentation.
