Yantras are intricate and powerful geometric diagrams that hold profound significance in various cultures and traditions. They are geometric representations of specific Deities/Energies like how Mantras are audio/verbal representations of different Gods. Yantras act as channels to invoke the blessings and qualities of these specific deities. The Dus Dikpal Yantra represents the energies of the ten ruling Deities of Vastu Shastra's ten different directions. By installing it, all Vastu Doshas are reduced and removed, thereby harmonizing the dwelling and allowing its residents to live in harmony and well-being.
The 2-dimensional diagram of Dus Dikpal Yantra comprises the Ten deities of the ten directions etched in gold, namely Kubera (north), Yama (south), Indra (east), Varuṇa (west), Īśāna (northeast), Agni (southeast), Vāyu (northwest), Nirṛti or Rakṣasa (southwest), Brahmā (zenith), Viṣṇu (nadir). The installation of this yantra with the images of the Guardians of the Ten Directions brings a distinct change to the harmony of the place by removing energetic blockages on these directions. It is when the place is balanced that the individual can prosper and follow its true potential without any kind of restrictions. Therefore, this is a very auspicious yantra.
Dikpalas are the guardian gods of the ten cardinal directions. They are controlling their particular directions. Each path has its own advantages, benefits and purpose. There is an unidentified force behind every event that occurs on earth.
According to the ancient Hindu Vastu Shastra, the importance of directions in the construction of any structure or building cannot be overstated. Vastu Shastra is one of the most complex and significant subjects among the numerous ancient Indian sciences. We must discuss some commonly held beliefs regarding the nature of directions. The internal angle of a field is 360 degrees. Take, for example, a compass. The internal angle of the compass is 360 degrees. The total radius of a compass is 360 degrees. Each direction has a 45-degree angle. In any direction, degree measurement is of utmost importance.
According to Vedic astrology, the guardians of the directions are some stars and planets that govern their assigned direction. Again, the theory of Vastu relies on the arrangement and re-configuration of the five elements: earth, water, fire, air, and sky in order to achieve the best results. Architectural concepts have been developed and assigned based on these factors.
As per ancient scriptures a yantra work in tune with the cosmic order. Every frequency/sound creates a waves vibration pattern which can be observed through various means and in turn sacred geometrical patterns contain divine frequencies. In Modern times this research has been done in the field of Cymatics.
Yantras are sacred geometrical patterns which are actually wave patterns of different Deities & Energies created by their inherent frequency. Just like how Specific Mantras aligns us with specific Deities & Energies, Yantras are tools which can be installed, worshipped & meditated upon to achieve union with these divine principles. There were extensively researched and are mentioned in various ancient Hindu Scriptures & Tantras. Dus Dikpal Yantra embodies the Divine Principles of Dus Dikpal & blesses us with their grace. The Dus Dikpal Yantra derives its energy from its inherent scared geometry as well as the Electromagnetic Energy Field of Sunlight as well as Geomagnetic Energy Field of the Earth. When Dus Dikpal Yantra is installed in your dwelling it vibrates at a frequency which harmonizes the environment with its principles.

Meditating on the Dus Dikpal Yantra is the most powerful way to achieve union with the diagram. Achieving the union is said to reveal all secrets of the world and one is supposed to gain access to knowledge of higher realms. In an oversimplified sense one must recreate the Dus Dikpal Yantra diagram accurately in the mind and visualize it. This visualization technique may sound simple but is quite tough to achieve, one must spend years of sadhana just to create an accurate image of the diagram in their head.
One can start by sitting in a comfortable posture facing east with an accurate image of Dus Dikpal Yantra at their Eye Level.
Perform Pranayama Anolom Vilom (Alternating nostril breaths) 10 times & meditate to purify your mind and thoughts.
Start by fixing your focus on the Ten deities starting from the upper left part with Bhagawan Shiva then moving horizontally to the next one, then to the third one, Agni Deva. Then, move your gaze to the arrow in the middle and follow the same procedure from right to left. Then, move your gaze to the lower arrow of Three deities on the lower part from left to right. You can also mentally chant their beej mantras while gazing through each of them. These are the steps or Avaran of Dus Dikpal yantra.
Then your gaze should go from the Outermost Gate back to the Bindu.
Try to avoid blinking your eyes during this process. You can do this for multiple rounds for 30 minutes.
After you can focus with intent for at least 30 minutes (the stamina to just focus may take quite some time to develop) close your eyes and try to recreate the image of the Dus Dikpal Yantra Diagram accurately.
Once you can create and sustain an accurate image of Dus Dikpal Yantra in your mind try to focus one by one on the steps mentioned above, however all this needs to be done in your mind in meditation with your eyes closed.
This visualization technique takes many years to master and bless the Sadhak with material success as well as spiritual augmentation.
