What is Samputith Navchandi Paath? Difference between Samputith Navchandi Paath & Regular Navchandi Paath?

The word ‘Samputit’ is derived from the Sanskrit word ‘Samput’ which means a ‘covering’ or a shield that has the power to bring together the divine energy in order to get immediate effects. A Samput is chanted or recited before and after every mantra or a path to enhance its power and offer quick results. It is like a capsule that holds together the medicine powder inside it safely. Samput can be in the form of mantra or a chaupai (quatrain verses). A Samputith Navchandi Paath comprises of Vedic rituals where a specific mantra or path is recited before and after every path or mantra to increase the power and divinity of the Yagna or Homa. A Samputit Path may vary depending upon the sankalp stated by the Yajman to perform the Navchandi puja. Depending upon the sankalp, a Samputith Mantra or path is recited.
